30 gift card holders before Christmas giveaway !

It's this time of the year again !
Two years ago, you saw my 30 cards, last year my 30 tags, and this year it will be 30 gift card holders ! I choose the gift card holder, because, obviously, we all need them during the holidays...

I think I'm crazy, and I don't know if I can do this marathon, but I will try anyway !

So each day, starting today until the 24th of December, I will reveal a gift card holder I made.
I will also have two giveaways, on the 9th and on the 25th of December. All you'll have to do to participate is being a follower of my blog and left a comment on one (or more, don't be shy...) gift card holder. Each follower's comment (one per post) will count as an entry for the drawings.

Let's start with the first of my gift card holder !

It's in fact a box in shape of a Christmas tree. You can open the box at the bottom of the tree, and a gift card fit perfectly inside.

I used my Cricut with the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cartridge to create it. I cut the shape "tree" with the feature "window" (p.127 of the handbook) at size 7". The trick is to set the mat at 12x24 even if you have only a 12x12, but place the blade at the very top of your paper.
I cut a red triangle to fit behind the window, using foam adhesive to adhere it. The papers are from the Christmas Creations stack and Merry Meories stack by DCWV. I add a white pompom ribbon and a word sticker by Jillibean Soup to acheve it.

I hope to see you tomorrow (and the day after, and the day after,...) for the next gift card holder.
Don't forget to let a comment (and follow my blog), if you want a chance to win this fantastic Banners stack by DCWV on the 15th of December !

  3. I'm looking forward to seeing these because my children (all adults) say "just give me a gift card mama" every year.
